We are a network of scrap car metal recyclers and scrap car car yards across the UK.
Generally when your scrap car vehicle is collected you will need to give the driver your log book / ownership document - you will keep section 9 and the driver will fill this out for you. You will also be provided with an intent of destruction document - you'll need to send this and section 9 of the log book above to the DVLA.
Our members have state-of-the-art modern recycling facilities, where your car will be dismantled in depollution bays. Liquids like brake fluid, battery fluid and so on are drained into containment tanks to avoid environmental contamination, and usable parts are removed to be recycled by other car owners.
It's easy to get a quote for an unwanted car - just fill in the form below. One of our local members will contact you. Agree on a fair price with them, and arrange a pickup time - they will collect your car, give you the agreed money and ensure that you get the documentation you need.
Scrap car recyclers and scrap car metal dealers all over the UK have come together to form Scrap Car Sites.
Our members are committed to providing the most environmentally friendly scrap car car disposal service. Vehicle dismantling by modern recyclers is undertaken in depollution bays, with tanked containment systems to prevent fluid (oils, battery fluid, petrol, brake fluid etc) leakage. Combined with modern safety equipment and best operating procedures, the days of the traditional scrap car yard and its pile of rusting scrap car cars are long gone.
Members of Scrap Car Sites provide an environmentally friendly service, dismantling cars in specialist depollution bays where fluids are drained into containment tanks and parts removed to be recycled into other cars. Authorised Treatment Facilities aim to recycle 85% of every vehicle, following government guidelines.
Complete this form to let us know that you'd like one of our local members to get in touch with you and give you a quote. Just agree a suitable time and place for them to pick up your car and you'll get money for your unwanted vehicle and the documentation you need.
Scrap metal prices are riding high right now, so it's a good time to get rid of any unwanted vehicles cluttering up your drive.
Environmentally conscious Authorised Treatment Centres aim to recycle 85% of every car they scrap car – that's a government directive. So scrap carping your old car is a great way to help the environment.
