We represent a national network of scrap caryards, scrap car vehicle recyclers and scrap car car collectors.
When a Scrap Car Sites member comes to collect your car, you'll need your log book. Hand it to our representative, and he will fill in the relevant details. He'll give you back section 9, and a Certificate of Intent of Destruction - send these to the DVLA and the car is officially handed over. Plus, of course, you'll get money for your unwanted scrap car vehicle!
Our members are proud to offer the best service around. You'll get a great price for your unwanted car, and our members' drivers will make sure you get the Certificate of Intent of Destruction you'll need to send to the DVLA as proof of sale.
Completing this form will let a local member know that you're interested in selling your car. They'll contact you to give you a quote and to arrange a suitable time and place for them to pick up your vehicle. You'll get money in your pocket and the proper documents that show you've handed over ownership.
We are a network of scrap car metal recyclers and scrap car car yards across the UK.
Scrap Car Sites' members are recognised Authorised Treatment Facilities (ATF) and are approved by the Department for the Environment. With state-of-the-art facilities, they ensure that as much as possible of your scrap carped car will be recycled, thus doing your part for the environment. All ATFs will provide you with an Intent of Destruction document, to be sent to the DVLA with section 9 of your log book - hand the rest of the log book over to the ATF.
When you scrap car a car, you'll need a Certificate of Intent of Destruction which informs the DVLA that you're no longer responsible for the vehicle. When one of our members' representatives collects your car, hand him the log book and he will give you the correct paperwork - and peace of mind.
Complete this form to let us know that you'd like one of our local members to get in touch with you and give you a quote. Just agree a suitable time and place for them to pick up your car and you'll get money for your unwanted vehicle and the documentation you need.
Scrapping your car can feel scary, but a reputable scrap car metal merchant will help you navigate the paperwork, making sure you're protected.
Give your unwanted car a new lease of life by selling it to a scrap car car dealer. Vehicle parts in good condition can be re-used as spares – great news for the environment.
